Suede Oxfords

Description
The Oxford was born in early nineteenth-century England and has stayed in the wardrobe ever since on the strength of what it is: unisex, restrained, easy to wear. This one keeps that and adds the comfort a shoe is actually judged by day to day. The upper is a soft, fine-grained suede chosen for the colder months. Around the toe and sole the seams are finished with a crimped, hand-worked edge that gives the shoe its dimension and a trace of the hand that made it. Waxed laces sit neat and hold their knot. Inside, the footbed is contoured to the arch; underneath, a thin non-slip rubber sole keeps the whole thing light underfoot. A shoe to put on without thinking about it.

Care Instructions
Professional leather cleaning recommended, or clean with a brush made for suede.
Store in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from sharp objects.
Keep leather out of direct sunlight and rain. If it does get wet, blot gently with a soft, light-colored cloth to absorb the moisture.

Please note — odour: These shoes are made with quality leather and adhesives that meet environmental standards, and are sealed in their box for transit. A faint smell of leather and adhesive is normal on opening; leave them in a ventilated place for one to two days and it will clear.

Please note — colour transfer: Dark leather linings are dyed after tanning, and natural leather holds dye imperfectly. Ongoing friction at the heel may cause slight colour transfer.
