Gathered puffer jacket

Description
Drawn from the motorcycle jackets of the nineties — that appetite for the real thing, and for going out to find it.

The bulk a padded jacket usually carries has been engineered out. Instead of quilting, the shell is gathered into pleated channels: the loft stays close to the body, and the surface moves with you rather than inflating around you. A light, lustrous fabric does the rest.

The body is cut short and sharp against a small standing collar, so the shape reads as geometry rather than volume. Elasticated cuffs and hem close out the wind. Inside, a soft, high-efficiency insulating fill — warm to around −5°C. Strength in the line, and something quieter in how it wears.

Measurements

Care Instructions
Hand wash, max 40°C.
Do not bleach.
Line dry.
Do not tumble dry.
Iron, max sole plate temperature 110°C.
Gentle dry clean.
*Professional wet clean, gentle cycle. Dark-colored fabric may show slight color transfer on first wash.
*After wear, hang in a dry, well-ventilated place and lightly pat away surface dust to restore the garment.
